Prom 2011

Well, Prom has come and gone. I forgot to post pictures so decided to get some put on the blog. These are just a few of the MANY that I took! Garrett and his junior classmates were in charge of this years Prom. I enjoyed helping decorate. Everything turned out beautiful! It was a lot of fun to help with! This years theme is "Together in the Twilight" 3.19.11 ~ This is Tyler's first prom! Big brother helps him out a little with his tux. The boys' look SO handsome!!! Garrett's date is his girlfriend Jessie.

Gma Cena, Pa Bud, Aunt Jenny and Gma Grace came to the

Grand March to see the boys.

They made the cutest couple!! :)

The boys' had an awesome time! The dance was

a lot of fun they said. It was great to watch them

having fun and making memories. These times are

going SO fast! I don't want to even think that next

year is Garrett's Senior Prom!! sniff, sniff..... But

for now, another school milestone is in the books!

Over the Hill

Monday, March 14, 2011 ----- Happy Birthday Bernie!!
Bernie turns the Big 5-0!!! This morning he opened his
gifts from us.

Then later that evening I hosted a surprise party for him!

He about didn't make it to his own party!! I had to tell several

'lies' to pull it off, ha ha. He didn't think he could get off work

that early and didn't want to drive a second vehicle to town

but luckily he did and we were all there to yell "Surprise"

when he walked into the Windy Gap!! :)

He was a good sport and was really glad

to see everyone there.

Lighting 50 candles would have been a fire hazard! lol

He received some really fun cards and gag

gifts which he enjoyed! This is a blow up walker!

An Old fart tool belt!

And a potty night light!

Some of the boys' friends were able to join us in celebrating.

Bernie had a great birthday!!! Look at all of the gifts and cards

he received!! He felt very loved and turning 50 wasn't quite so

painful!! Thanks to everyone who were able to join us and for

all of the bday wishes!! I think Bernie is very much feeling '50' and

I can't believe I'm married to such an old guy! LOL!!
