Ok, this seems like a funny place to start a post but I'm
having some trouble downloading the rest of my pictures
so while I keep trying, meantime here are some pics from
our summer, including our vacation to the Black Hills.
Hopefully I can get the rest posted soon!
June 15th-18th ~
We made several stops on our drive to get out a admire the
scenery. Tyler had to climb everything!
We saw lots of beautiful scenery on our vacation.
All Aboard!!!! We took the 1880 Train!
The train ride was a lot of fun. We took the round trip ride and
really enjoyed the scenery and the train whistle!
Then, on to Mt. Rushmore! We enjoyed the tour then walked
around the bottom of the faces. It was neat to be here again.
On the last day of our trip we took the 'long' way
home and toured Fort Robinson and Chimney Rock.
We had a great vacation! Saw lots and did lots!
We stopped by Dad's to wish him a Happy Father's Day!
Sunday July 3rd, we gathered at sister Jenny's for a family
get together. Niece Tracy with her new adorable lil guy Rory.

~ Us ~
Time for fireworks!
The fireworks were awesome!!!! We were so close
we even had the 'shells' of the fireworks falling on us!
It was a fun time and nice to get together with family
over the holiday weekend.
Summer is half over and going by quickly! Wheat harvest
will start soon and will keep Bernie and the boys' busy.
The boys' have had a busy summer with football camps,
working and their social lives! I've been enjoying my 'free'
time and have been doing lots of scrapbooking trying to
get things caught up in anticipation of Garrett's upcoming
Senior year! We got a couple house projects done and my
'to do list' is dwindling. I will be returning to work at Paxton
Schools again this Fall. I have mixed feelings about it as I
enjoy the kids I work with at school and enjoy seeing my own
boys' but it doesn't pay at all as the drive/gas eat up my paycheck
entirely and it makes my time limited, but, I will give it another go.
We hope everyone is having a great Summer!
