Branding

Sunday May 30th 2010 ~ This morning we gave our cows
shots and branded our calves. Both look so nice!


This calf was very curious and came to see what I was doing.

Tyler and Garrett run the cows through a few at a time.

The boys' wanted to try roping and dragging but it wasn't

going too well.....

so they did the 'wrestling' method.

Some of the calves are pretty good size so there was lots

of kicking going on. The calves gave the boys' some good

tackling practice, both said they are ready for football! :)

Tyler branded a few. Cade was in charge of spraying. I helped

too! I was the 'gate girl'! :)

Here's the crew a little worse for wear! Garrett has a fat lip,

bruised leg...Tyler got stepped on, hit in the face and kicked

in the knee, Cade managed to avoid any danger and Bernie...

well, he's tough! ha ha. They all agreed it was fun tho! :)
